The Tour of Spain 2011 will be held on Saturday August 20 to Sunday September 11, 2011 and will feature 21 stages with a total distance of about 3,300 kilometers. Breakdown of steps:

     10 stages of middle and high mountain
     1 team time-trial stage.
     1 individual time trial stage,
